Tier - 5 System of UK Visa

It is the fifth tier of the British visa system and generally known as the youth mobility scheme or the temporary workers scheme. It is a points’ based system based on the various types of tier of immigration services specially designed to accommodate different groups of people immigrating to the UK on a temporary basis. This type of a visa is suitable for people who wish to immigrate to the UK to participate in a youth mobility scheme. The youth mobility scheme is generally known as a cultural exchange scheme which was designed to create reciprocal youth mobility opportunities for young people from different participating countries and the UK. This type of a programme allows young people to experience the life in the UK for upto 2 years, allowing them to work, live, shop or spend money and at the same time experience the cultural life of the UK.
Requirements:
Although the requirements to apply for this visa are many, but you must score 50 points from the sponsorship, age and maintenance categories and:
You need to obtain a valid sponsorship certificate from your sponsoring concerned person with a valid passport.
Your age should range between 18 to 30 years
You must show your financial maintenance funds for a comfortable stay in the UK. You need to show a minimum of 1600 pounds initially.
Apart from that, you must not be self employed, be an aspiring sports person and you can not bring your dependents with you to the UK and neither can switch from the 5th tier to the other tiers of the UK visa system. This type of a visa also does not give you a pathway for settlement in the UK and neither gives an opportunity to apply for a Permanent Residence in the UK.
